Farmers Market idea still alive

In December 03, MRA arranged a meeting with the Tacoma/Pierce Chamber of Commerce, Tacoma Rail, and the County Office of Community Development to tour the old granary.  The concept of using this historic building as a local “backyard”  Farmers Market became more doable at that time.  We need this in our community.  It can be a real catalyst to bring in both visitors to the market and create new businesses, too.  It will take a lot of effort and help from all, but it will be worth it to our community. 

 

Midland Residents Association meetings are held on the 1st Tuesday of each month.
